Former ECW World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley has reportedly come to an agreement to return to the WWE.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Newsletter previously reported that Lashley could be making a return to the company. Rumor has it that Lashley's return would have him feud with Brock Lesnar sometime after WrestleMania.

WWE could have different plans for Lashely if Lesnar ultimately decides to leave the company when his contract is up. In a recent update, Brad Shepard of Bodyslam.net reports that Lashely has come to a deal to return to WWE.

No further elaborations were divulged on the terms of the agreement between WWE and Lashley. It's still unknown when Lashley will make his re-debut with the company.

Tonight a Seven-Man Elimination Chamber match is set to go down with names such as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, John Cena, Elias, Finn Balor, WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz, and Braun Strowman.

The winner of the match is expected to go on to WrestleMania 34 to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship. It's expected that Reigns will win the Chamber match and go on to dethrone Lesnar at WrestleMania.

If Lesnar stays with WWE it can be expected that Lashely will make his debut and challenge Lesnar to a feud. Lashely has been very vocal over the past several years that he wants to work with Brock Lesnar - either in professional wrestling or mixed martial arts (MMA).

Lashley is a heavyweight mixed martial artist for Bellator MMA. Lesnar is a former UFC heavyweight champion whose fighting career has been up-and-down for the past several years. Lashley has always been interested in possibly fighting Lesnar.

It should be interesting to see how a possibly feud between Lesnar and Lashley would play out on WWE TV.

What are your thoughts on WWE signing Lashley to a WWE deal and possibly having him feud with Brock Lesnar after WrestleMania? Do you think that this is going to be a good rivalry between the pair? And will WWE allow Lashely to continue to fight in Bellator while he wrestles for them? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
