When the Hardy Boyz returned to WWE at Wrestlemania 33 back in April 2017, fans were desperate to see if Matt Hardy was still "broken". But, as he was stuck in a battle over the rights of the popular gimmick with Impact Wrestling, for the first eight months, we saw a rather calm and composed Hardy. That all changed in November, when fans got exactly what they wanted and following a match against Bray Wyatt, Matt became "broken" again. Well, not exactly - he became "woken" but still sentenced The Eater of Worlds to "deletion" - much to the delight of fans. And what followed between the pair over the course of their three-month feud was quite something. They clashed multiple times in the ring, cut numerous, very odd promos and just proved they really were a weird wrestling match-up made in heaven. And following Sunday's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view, it looked like their long-running feud was finally over. Wyatt cost Hardy a spot in the seven-man chamber match, so the pair instead had a one-on-one battle to settle their differences.   After countering Wyatt's Sister Abigail finisher, "Woken" Matt hit a Twist of Fate, pinning his opponent clean and sending the "Woken Warriors" in attendance crazy. However, it apparently hasn't ended there, with Wyatt coming out on Raw last night, declaring that "the great war is far from over".Although the feud has been running for a while now, Hardy's latest response on social media is sure to get fans excited all over again. He tweeted, suggesting that Wyatt looked "broken" and that he craves the opportunity to go to war again, but this time it will be on his terms and on his "battlefield". Check out the tweet below.

With the battle being set on his terms, fans are beginning to dream of another epic "Final Deletion" match - perhaps even at the Hardy Compound.

It would be the first time WWE ever visits the battleground, but not the first time they've tried a match like this.

In 2017, Wyatt himself was involved in a House of Horrors match, against Randy Orton that didn't take place inside a ring.

That match wasn't a huge hit with the WWE Universe but given the popularity of Hardy's previous "Final Deletion" matches, this one would surely go over.
