West Ham went into their clash against Liverpool having lost just once in their previous eight Premier League matches.

But this was a Liverpool side hoping to move up to second in the table - albeit only for 24 hours - and had, themselves, lost just once in their last 18 league matches.

On paper, it looked as though the Reds would cruise to a comfortable three points but, in the first half hour, the visitors frustrated them.

In fact, they came within inches of taking the lead when Marco Arnautovic saw his delightful chip tipped onto the underside of the crossbar by Loris Karius.

But Emre Can’s goal in the 30th-minute changed the entire match.

The German headed in from Mohamed Salah’s corner and you couldn’t blame the West Ham fans for immediately fearing the worst.

But there was one young West Ham fan that really wasn’t happy with Liverpool taking the lead.

During ‘Inside Anfield’ - a behind-the-scenes video produced by Liverpool after every home game - a young Hammer can be seen making a very rude gesture to the Liverpool fans after Can’s goal.

In fact, it was so rude that his father immediately grabs his hand in disgust.

It really is rather hilarious.

That young fan had every right to fear the worst after Can’s goal.

In the second-half, Klopp’s side turned on the style with Salah making it 2-0 before Roberto Firmino made it 3-0 before the hour-mark.

The child would have been celebrating moments later, though, as Michail Antonio brought a goal back just seconds after coming onto the pitch.

But Sadio Mane grabbed a fourth for Liverpool to leave David Moyes’ side suddenly looking behind them in their relegation fight once again.

It would have been a long journey home for those West Ham fans and that little boy might have received a few stern words from his father.
