This Raw star was handing out some strikes on this show.

That star was former NXT Women’s Champion Asuka, who connected with a sickening knee strike to former WWE Raw Women’s Champion Sasha Banks.

Prior to signing with WWE, Banks wrestled on the indie scene and most notably for Chaotic Wrestling, where she once held the Chaotic Wrestling Women's Championship.

She signed with WWE and placed in their developmental brand, NXT, in 2012. Her match against Bayley at NXT TakeOver: Respect on October 7, 2015 was the first women's match to ever headline a major WWE event, the first women's Iron Man match, and the longest women's match in WWE history at the time with a length of 30 minutes.

In 2016, she and Charlotte Flair became the first women to headline a WWE pay-per-view event and the first to compete in a Hell in a Cell match (both at Hell in a Cell in October 2016), the first women to main event Raw in a women's match since 2004.

Between WWE and NXT, Banks has had five championship reigns due her being a former NXT Women's Champion and a record-tying four-time Raw Women's Champion.

The seventh episode of WWE Mixed Match Challenge aired on Facebook on Tuesday night and saw Asuka and WWE Intercontinental Champion The Miz defeated Finn Balor and Banks in a tag team match.

During the match, Asuka connected with a big knee strike to the face of Banks, which you can see here.

The live broadcast peaked at 62,200 viewers, which is down from last week’s 76,500 live viewers. The view counter on the Facebook website shows 612,000 total views as of this morning. This was the lowest rated episode of the series thus far. Here are the peak viewership numbers thus far:

Episode 1: 135,600

Episode 2: 91,900

Episode 3: 62,400

Episode 4: 77,700

Asuka began her professional wrestling career back in 2004 before beginning to do work for Pro Wrestling Wave in 2008.

She also did work for promotions such as Smash, Wrestling New Classic, Reina Joshi Puroresu, and many other promotions.

Asuka finally signed with WWE in 2015 and was sent to developmental in NXT. In April of last year at NXT TakeOver: Dallas Asuka defeated Bayley to win the NXT Women's Championship.

She continued to dominate her opponents in NXT and extended her vicious undefeated streak to over 500 days. She recently successfully defended her strap against Ember Moon at NXT TakeOver III: Brooklyn, however, she suffered an injury during the match which forced her to relinquish her title.

This is when the sports entertainment company made the decision to call her up to the main event roster and place her on the flagship show of the company, Monday Night Raw.
