Bar any injuries between now and the end of the season, Roberto Firmino must be a shoo-in for a place in Brazil's starting XI at this summer's World Cup.

Twenty-one goals in 36 appearances for Liverpool is a fantastic return from the unorthodox striker, who has seriously impressed alongside Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane.

Firmino faces competition in Brazil's squad, of course, but manager Tite hopes he can find a way to incorporate all of his star players in one starting line-up.

"I can see Firmino playing with [Gabriel] Jesus," said Tite recently. "Firmino is originally a No.10 who always played with a No.9; he is a No.10 who learned how to play a No.9.

"Brazil has lacked alternatives in previous World Cups and it cost us big. That's why I want to use [Philippe] Coutinho in midfield, Willian as winger, playing with Firmino and Jesus together.

"We must enter the competition with preparation for any situation. Coutinho as the orchestrator of midfield with Willian on the wing is a possibility.

"So is playing Jesus and Firmino on top. A front four of Coutinho and Neymar as playmakers behind the two strikers could be our solution against opponents sitting deep."

Regardless of how Brazil line-up in Russia, Firmino simply must start given he offers something entirely different to his teammates.

The 26-year-old is a solid finisher and fine passer of the ball, not to mention a workhorse who does not stop running until the final whistle.

Big things are expected of Firmino, but according to the man himself, he already has something pretty special planned for the World Cup that could see him look very different.

In a recent interview with SporTV, Firmino revealed he is considering a drastic change of hairstyle which will most likely be bald, just like old school Ronaldo.

Imagine the scenes if Firmino went one step further and actually got Ronaldo's famous triangular haircut... football fans will love it either way.
