Prior to February's trade deadline, Los Angeles Clippers star DeAndre Jordan was constantly involved in rumours surrounding his future with the franchise. The Clippers were reportedly in discussions with multiple teams to offload the center but didn't receive a suitable offer and decided to keep hold of him.The 29-year-old can become a free agent in the summer and the Clips were looking to get something in return instead of running the risk of losing him for nothing. After Chris Paul decided to join the Houston Rockets before the start of the season, L.A. chose to trade Blake Griffin to the Detroit Pistons in January and it seemed inevitable that Jordan would also follow them out of the door. But the big man is still part of the team and is the only remaining survivor of 'Lob City'.With his future now in his own hands, the All-Star has a big decision to make in the offseason but he already knows what he wants to do.In an interview with Michael Lee of Yahoo Sports, Jordan stated that he hopes to sign a long-term deal with the Clippers and remain part of the organisation for the rest of his career."I'm here and that's what I'm focused on. I'm excited. Like I told somebody the other day, I hope I can play another 10 years here. That's what I'm focused on now," he said. The veteran will have a number of interested suitors in free agency but he insists he isn't focused on that at the moment."My name has been mentioned [in trades] for the past few years. So I'm not really tripping on that. I really don't give a [expletive] at this point," he said."I'm just playing, man, staying locked into the game, playing as hard as I can for this organisation because I love this team. And I love where we're at and the group of guys that I'm playing with, so that's what makes me happy."The All-NBA man also made it clear that the trades to offload Paul and Griffin haven't done anything to impact his thinking."I don't think anything is too dramatic about it. It was a lot going on. But I just tried to keep my head and roll with whatever happened," Jordan said.Even with their major roster changes and several injuries throughout the season, the Clippers are still somehow in playoff contention.Jordan has looked to take on more responsibility both on and off the floor as a leader and led by example on Friday night as he produced a monster performance in a big 128-105 win against the New York Knicks at Staples Center.

DJ posted 19 points and 20 rebounds on 9-of-11 shooting from the field.

Los Angeles is now 33-28 and just half a game behind the Denver Nuggets for the eighth spot in the west in an intriguing battle for the playoffs.
