Deontay Wilder was triumphant once again on Saturday night, defeating Luis Ortiz in the 10th round of a gripping heavyweight battle to retain his WBC title in New York.Wilder didn't have it all his own way against the Cuban fighter, however. The 32-year-old American found himself shaken on a couple of occasions, before coming back to produce an excellent display, culminating in him securing the win.Anthony Joshua remains in his sights for a potential unification bout, with the 28-year-old putting his IBF and WBA titles on the line later this month when he fights New Zealand's Joseph Parker in Cardiff. As Wilder secured his victory over Ortiz inside the distance, the knock-out punch that ended the fight left those who witnessed the bout with blown minds - particularly the reaction of the Corona girls, who were sat ring-side and was completely gobsmacked.Following the fight, a video has emerged which perfectly captures the girls' faces after the devastating nature of the KO.

That was also the same girl who Wilder terrified at the weigh-in with a war-cry.

Wilder, who successfully defended his world title for the seventh time, has switched his immediate attention to unifying the heavyweight division, with several options now at his disposal after seeing off Ortiz in emphatic fashion in the city that never sleeps!

Wilder said: "I want to unify. I am ready whenever those guys are.

"I figured out a way to come back. A true champion always finds a way. That's what I did tonight."

A heavyweight clash between Joshua and Wilder is on the lips of every fan of the sport wanting to see such an event take place in the near future.

And Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, teased that should the Watford-born fighter come through against Parker in the Welsh capital on March 31st, then a showdown with Wilder later this year is likely.

"It's the biggest fight in world boxing," Hearn told Sportsweek on BBC Radio 5 live.

"He has the biggest test of his career against Parker but if he wins it Anthony wants to fight Wilder.

"He thinks he can beat him and Wilder is beatable, but Wilder is also very dangerous."
