Football News

GiveMeSport is the official media partner of the NBA in the United Kingdom, and we aim to here create a fortnightly-ish podcast that UK fans can be proud of. Nothing gimmicky, just a conversation with NBA folk who know what they are talking about.

We aim to bring you high quality NBA news, views, analysis and stories via any medium possible. And so with that in mind, we are here introducing; the inaugural GiveMeSport NBA podcast.

Episode one features as its guest David Griffin, Cleveland Cavaliers General Manager between 2014 and 2017, now a pundit on NBA TV. The topics covered are as follows:

00.58: A discussion on tanking. Has it gone too far?
06.50: Is the problem really how open it has become?
10.22: What is the future of the NBA's age limit? Does it help?
15.00: Can the G-League become a true minor league? What about Australia?
19.39: Does LeBron's perpetual free agency change the player/team power balance?
21:35: NBA player movement compared to the Premier League.
25.50: Did the Cavaliers do enough at the deadline?
36.18: What is the limit of the NBA data revolution? Do we use the data properly?

The GiveMeSport NBA Podcast is coming to all podcast apps and directories, and will also always be available here at and at
