Although Woken Matt Hardy already has an important victory over Bray Wyatt at the RAW-exclusive Elimination Chamber event, there’s now even more excitement surrounding their rivalry based on what happened earlier this week on Monday Night RAW.It seems like The Eater of Worlds doesn’t know when to call it a day in each of his feuds, as they all seem to go in the same direction with him losing. However, his most recent call-out of the ‘coward’ Hardy resulted in the Woken one announcing something WWE fans have been wanting to see for quite some time now.

THE ULTIMATE DELETION

He challenged his rival to a match at the Hardy Family Compound, which was quickly followed up with some footage of where their battle will take place. Instantly, fans remembered what happened the last time a match took place at the Hardy Compound, along with the disastrous result of the House of Horrors match between Wyatt and Randy Orton.

Since that challenge was made, Wyatt has accepted it via Twitter.

Although we’re seeing all of the mannerisms we loved about Woken Matt when he first introduced it back in Impact Wrestling, the one tiny detail some fans can’t get over is that Woken Matt is not Broken - even though he legally can now use that name and gimmick.

BROKEN

However, while we are enjoying what Matt has to offer under the Woken gimmick, he’s dropped a huge hint on Twitter that he could still transition to his Broken state and fully embrace the original gimmick which took his stock to new heights.

He posted: “W is gonna start sounding like BR...MARAVILLOSO!”

Signs probably don’t get more obvious than that when we’re talking about the possibility of seeing Broken Matt in WWE. However, if that’s the direction WWE is heading in, you have to think just how this change can be made without making it seemed rushed or too sudden for fans to care.

Perhaps the most efficient way to do this is to surprisingly have Wyatt emerge victorious in the Ultimate Deletion which can spiral Matt into a Broken state, or even switch roles and have Wyatt throw Woken Matt into the Lake of Reincarnation. However, many are expecting Wyatt to be thrown in there instead with a strange possibility seeing the two men actually team up once Wyatt has been deleted and healed.

Plus, when you have the impending return of Jeff Hardy - possibly as Brother Nero - there are several options WWE has to make the natural transition to the Broken character.
