Terrors end Ross County dream

Craig Conway netted a late double as a dominant Dundee United ended Ross County's Active Nation Scottish Cup dream at Hampden with a 3-0 victory.

County failed to impose themselves on the game as they had against Celtic in the last four and David Goodwillie gave United a deserved lead just after the hour mark with a brilliantly-executed lob from 30 yards.

The lively Conway sealed United's second Scottish Cup triumph - and their first since 1994 - as United twice quickly turned defence into attack in the final 15 minutes to give Peter Houston a trophy just six months into his managerial career.
