The story WWE is telling right now in regards to Brock Lesnar is that he simply doesn’t care about the WWE or its fans. Instead, he cares about his contract and getting paid enough to turn up.While there was truth to Roman Reigns’ promo on Monday Night RAW last week, it all ignited because The Beast Incarnate didn’t turn up when he was scheduled to do so as it’s being claimed that he’s leveraging a return to the UFC to get another great deal like he did in the lead up to WrestleMania 31.However, WWE is now operating under the assumption that Lesnar is actually on his way out which means Roman Reigns could - possibly - leave WrestleMania 34 with the Universal Championship. What WWE is now doing is trying to portray Lesnar as the villain in an attempt to goad WWE fans into cheering for Reigns.

POTENTIAL EXIT

This way, Lesnar’s potential exit will be celebrated instead. WWE turned this up a notch earlier this week when he defeated/squashed Kane in only 35 seconds and as you can imagine, WWE fans weren’t too fond of this idea.

WWE didn’t stop in Chicago when he battled The Big Red Machine, as Lesnar was back in Minnesota - which explains the positive reaction - on Friday night as he went up against The Miz.

Plus, the latter did cut a heel promo in Lesnar’s hometown, so Lesnar wasn’t treated with merciless boos.

Cageside Seats were there and thankfully, they’ve provided a great video below where you can see exactly what went down when the Universal Champion met the Intercontinental Champion.

SUPLEX CITY

WWE did originally try to troll the fans into thinking Lesnar wasn’t there, as his music hit the PA system but they waited a minute or so before he walked out from the curtains for his match.

This time, he gave fans more than 35 seconds of action as his match against The Miz last for one minute and 19 seconds. In total, he delivered a total of six German suplexes and three devastating F5’s as Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas of The Miztourage made the mistake of trying to get involved and got a free trip to Suplex City.

Although The Miz is a heel, you have to imagine that in any other city, Lesnar probably wouldn’t have got a positive reaction based on the situation he’s in. Since then, it’s thought that WWE might even switch the WrestleMania 34 main event so that Lesnar isn’t taking up a main event spot.

The Miz, on the other hand, probably won’t mind getting obliterated by Lesnar as his highly anticipated WrestleMania match already features the likes of Seth Rollins and Finn Balor, with more big names expected to join the fold.
