Rashford's goal in 2018 v Ronaldo's goal in 2007

The 33-year-old Real Madrid star has been in superb form recently, also scoring a brace on Saturday as Los Blancos beat Eibar 2-1 in La Liga.

Ronaldo famously spent six years under Sir Alex Ferguson in Manchester before moving to Madrid in a world record £80m transfer.

He scored some breathtaking goals for Man United and some eagle-eyed fans have noticed that he scored an almost identical goal to Rashford's... all the way back in 2007.

Facing Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League, Ronaldo executed his 'Ronaldo Chop' before unleashing an unstoppable shot into the bottom corner.

The resemblance is uncanny.

Rashford pulled out the 'Ronaldo Chop' too - but needed one less touch to find the back of the net.

The young Man United forward is pushing for a Champions League start against Sevilla following his Man of the Match display this weekend.

In the first leg, the Red Devils drew 0-0 in Spain thanks to a heroic David De Gea performance.
