Arsenal built on the AC Milan win and ended their four-match domestic losing run on Sunday by beating Watford 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium.

Shkodran Mustafi, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan all got on the scoresheet, but the moment of the game came in the 62nd minute.

Troy Deeney needs no introduction to Arsenal supporters, given what he said about Arsene Wenger's team back in October after Watford's 2-1 win at Vicarage Road.

Deeney: Arsenal lack "cojones"

The Hornets captain came off the bench to equalise from the penalty spot in that contest and said Arsenal lost due to a lack of "cojones" - but there was somewhat of a role reversal on Sunday.

With the score at 2-0, Deeney saw his penalty kick saved by Petr Cech, and while Gunners fans absolutely loved it, they are also giving props to the striker for what he did after his side's defeat.

What Deeney did after Arsenal 3-0 Watford

Unlike most Arsenal players, and despite not being one himself, Deeney actually took the time to confront supporters outside the Emirates straight after Watford's 3-0 loss.

As you can see in the videos below, the 29-year-old signed autographs and took pictures with youngsters, as well as meeting ArsenalFanTV regulars Troopz and DT.

Deeney can be heard saying things like "Look after yourself" and "All the best" before a brilliant reply of "As big as yours" when asked how big his "cojones" were by one cheeky fan.

Arsenal fans react on Twitter

Of course, Arsenal fans enjoyed the fact that Deeney's comments from October came back to bite him, but they're also respecting and commending him for fronting up.

Check out some of the best Twitter reaction below:

While Deeney's Watford travel to Liverpool next weekend, Arsenal's attention now turns to Thursday's important Europa League Round of 16 second leg against Milan.

Given that the north London club are a massive 12 points behind fourth-placed Liverpool, winning the European competition looks like being their only route back to Champions League football.
