Rookie sensation Alvin Kamara isn't slowing down in the offseason. The Saints running back took the league by storm in his first year as a pro, winning rookie of the year and making the Pro Bowl on the back of his incredible play. Kamara put up the third most all purpose yards in the NFL in 2017 (1901), only trailing LeVeon Bell and Todd Gurley. His speed, elusiveness, and ability to combine running the ball between the tackles with catching passes out of the backfield, make him a rare talent that Sean Payton will look to utilise even more in 2018. The 22-year-old is putting in the offseason work to make sure he comes back even better in his second year. Kamara shared this video on Instagram, showing off his insane, though unconventional workout! Lifting weights is obviously a staple for any workout warrior, and the occasional truck pull is seen every now and then. But combining the two? That's just crazy! The 2017 third-round pick out of Tennessee has had about as good of a start to an NFL career as one could wish for. He rushed for 728 yards and eight scores at 6.07 yards per carry whilst hauling in 81 receptions for 826 yards and five touchdowns, forming a lethal backfield duo with fellow Pro Bowler Mark Ingram. The 'Boom and Zoom' tandem became the first backs from the same team to be selected to the Pro Bowl since Jim Otis and Terry Metcalf with St. Louis in 1975.

He's even rated as the top fantasy player heading into 2018!

The Saints have unearthed a gem in Kamara, who not only excels on the field, but works hard off it in his own time.

His football smarts seem to translate off the field too, the 22-year-old famously bought chicken wings with his signing bonus, a far cry from many of his peers' extravagant spending habits!

"I got my signing bonus and I put that s--- in the bank and I went and got some motherf---ing wings," he said.

Whilst his work ethic and crazy workouts seem to stand him apart, former Saints running back Reggie Bush and the crew on NFL Total Access showed they could pull a car too...

The Saints 2017 season ended in shocking style with the now famous 'Minneapolis Miracle' against the Vikings in the divisional round of the playoffs.

They will be hoping to right that wrong in 2018 and progress further into the postseason, led by their explosive offense in which Kamara will be an integral cog.
