Jeff Hardy could make WWE return next week at Ultimate Deletion

Football News

The last time WWE fans saw Jeff Hardy was in September, as he suffered a shoulder injury where it was feared that he might even miss WrestleMania 34.

The sad part about it all was that The Hardy Boyz were forced to split and Matt had to embark on a singles run. However, the silver lining from it all was that WWE finally allowed Matt to use his Broken gimmick - albeit, under the Woken persona - but he hasn’t quite hit the heights many expected he would.

However, that could all be about to change next week as WWE will finally air the Ultimate Deletion between Matt and Bray Wyatt. If this is going to be anything like what Matt did at the Final Deletion when he was a part of Impact Wrestling, it could truly propel Matt to that next level where many fans believe he belongs.

Part of the reason why fans are excited is because of the other characters we could see at the Hardy Compound, such as Senor Benjamin but obviously, fans are going to be eager to see whether or not Jeff Hardy will be there.

Despite the injury and some recent personal troubles, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has revealed that Jeff has filmed footage for the upcoming Ultimate Deletion.

This means that unless he is cut from the footage, Jeff should be making his television return on Monday Night RAW next week.

According to Ringside News, Meltzer said: “They filmed the thing for next Monday. The Ultimate Deletion thing for next Monday.

“That was filmed on Thursday and Jeff was in it. That was Jeff’s return. It will be interesting to see if that thing airs on Monday and Jeff is in it or not.”

It remains to be seen whether Jeff’s appearance means he’s ready to compete full-time again or not, as his return could positively impact Woken Matt’s WrestleMania 34 plans next month.

However, the question on everybody’s mind right now will be whether WWE decides to bring Jeff back as his current character, or whether we’re finally going to see the introduction of Brother Nero on WWE television.
