Ronda Rousey is officially a WWE Superstar after signing a multi-year deal with the company, and she's expected to make her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34.

Rousey will team up with Monday Night RAW General Manager and WWE Hall Of Famer Kurt Angle to take on WWE COO Triple H and RAW Commissioner Stephanie McMahon in a Mixed Tag Team match.

She recently appeared on The Ellen Show to discuss her transition from the world of mixed martial arts (MMA) to the professional wrestling world. Rousey was asked to describe the world of professional wresting from her perspective.

"The Rowdy One" described it as a live TV show about a wrestling tournament, and divulged that the outcomes are, of course, scripted (quotes via Wrestling Inc.):

"WWE, I describe it as a live TV show about a wrestling tournament where everyone does their own stunts," Rousey said.

"It's not fake fighting, it's scripted. So when I got slapped across the face [by Stephanie McMahon on RAW], that was a real slap, there's no real way to fake that."

Rousey then said that the biggest difference between WWE and UFC is that when she was fighting in MMA she was doing it alone. Now in WWE it's more of a team effort to put on a tremendous show.

She also discussed secretly training professional wrestling and trying to keep her WWE deal under wraps for so long. Rousey then talked about how hard it was to arrive in Florida in January for the Royal Rumble to make her surprise debut.

Rousey is set to make her wrestling debut on "The Grandest Stage Of Them All" in New Orleans, but said she's not as nervous as she has been for other athletic events in the past as the worse that can happen is that she'll just look stupid:

"I can't think of the last time I was so excited for anything, [where] I'm like really looking forward to it," Rousey said.

What are your thoughts on Rousey saying that the worse thing that can happen to her at WrestleMania is that she looks stupid? And is it a good thing that this isn't the most nerve wrecking thing that Rousey has done in her career? How do you think this match is going to go when it's all said and done in New Orleans? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
