Last week, WWE made a huge announcement on their official website which the fans loved - Ronda Rousey would be appearing on every episode of Monday Night RAW in the build-up to WrestleMania 34.

As we know, the former UFC bantamweight championship was nowhere to be seen this week. To apologise to fans for Rousey not being there despite advertised, they decided to make the decision to hand out mini Snickers bars.

When WrestleMania season approaches, the fans rightfully have the expectation that the biggest stars that are going to feature in main event matches appear on a weekly basis. This is to hype up their matches, get fans invested in them and show that they care. Perhaps this is the main reason why fans aren’t too happy with Brock Lesnar not being around.

NO RAW APPEARANCE

Although, this is being done purposely by WWE in the lead up to his Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns in New Orleans, Louisiana next month.

Two main stories were circulating online following Monday Night RAW regarding Rousey’s absence. The first, which fans wouldn’t have been too happy with, was that Rousey had other commitments which means she wasn’t able to appear on RAW.

The other revolved around Stephanie McMahon, with sources claiming that because WWE didn’t have anything for Stephanie on RAW, they couldn’t do anything with Rousey on that night either.

Following Rousey not appearing on RAW, WWE went ahead and removed an article on their website which claimed that she was going to be appearing on every episode of RAW ahead of the Grandest Stage of Them All on April 8.

MEDICAL TESTING

However, Pro Wrestling Sheet have now revealed the real reason why Rousey was unable to appear on RAW and it seems like it was all out of her hands.

They’re claiming that Rousey was actually incorrectly advertised by WWE.com to appear this week in Detroit, as she was already scheduled to undergo medical testing in Pittsburgh on Monday instead.

They added that their sources have stressed that Rousey didn’t skip RAW for another obligation, but that she really wanted to be there but due to the testing, she couldn’t make it. However, the expectation is that now she will be on RAW in the coming weeks ahead of WrestleMania, even if it is in dark segment for the live audience only.
