The Women's Revolution within the WWE has really vamped up this year. At the forefront of that are WWE Superstars such as Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Naomi, Natalya, Alexa Bliss, Bayley, Sasha Banks, Paige, and so many more.

In fact, the women's division has received a major boost in that WWE has signed Ronda Rousey as a WWE Superstar. One of the most highly-anticipated matches on the WrestleMania card right now is Rousey's in-ring debut with WWE.

Another highly-anticipated match at Mania, and one that is likely to steal the show as well, is the SmackDown Live Women's Championship match between Charlotte Flair and Asuka.

Asuka won the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble in January to earn the opportunity.

To add to the Women's presence on the WrestleMania card, it looked as though another female rivalry was going to take place at "The Show Of Shows."

For the past several weeks the friction between best-friends Bayley and Sasha Banks has been taking form on WWE TV.

Rumors suggested WWE was planning to have a singles match between Bayley and Banks at "The Show Of Shows."

It looks like that is no longer in the WWE's plans. Dave Melter of Wrestling Observer Radio now reports that the match between the pair may no longer take place at WrestleMania.

Per Meltzer's count, the current WrestleMania 34 card features about 14 matches. He doesn't think that the show needs another match ant that likely means Banks vs. Bayley will be left off of the card. Here's what he had to say (quotes via Ringside News):

"I think we got the whole WrestleMania card. I got 14 matches listed and I don't think they need more than 14. I don't think they are going to have any more.

"They could still throw in a Bayley vs. Sasha Banks match but I'm guessing they are both in the Battle Royal."

The battle royal Meltzer refers to is that inaugural Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal. Women from the main roster and NXT are expected to participate in the rumble. Banks and Bayley will likely compete in it rather than a singles match of their own later in the night.

What are your thoughts on Banks vs. Bayley likely not happening as a singles match on WrestleMania? Do you think that WWE should make that bout happen regardless of how many matches they already have? And could that match possibly steal the show? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
