Ever since she won the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match, many WWE fans have been wondering when Carmella will use her opportunity to have a women's championship and cash in her Money in the Bank contract. The 2018 Money in the Bank pay-per-view is not that far away, and The Queen of Staten Island has until then to cash in her contract for a title shot. However, recent rumors have suggested that she will cash in her contract really soon.According to Brad Shepard on his podcast Backstage in WWE with Brad Shepard and Jon Fisher, WWE is planning to have Carmella cash in her Money In The Bank contract at WrestleMania 34 later this year in New Orleans, but unfortunately for her, she is rumored to be unsuccessful in her attempt. Thanks to a fan, The Queen of Staten Island herself has caught wind of this rumor and has surprisingly commented on it.Carmella responded to a fan on her Twitter account who had tweeted her about the rumored unsuccessful cash in at WrestleMania 34 by saying: “Well if it’s on the internet, it’s definitely true!!!”

Although Carmella is clearly denying the truth behind the rumor, it's not like she's going to openly reveal on the internet a major WWE storyline weeks before it actually happens, otherwise, she would likely lose her push, potentially be suspended, or possibly even lose her job.

We'll just have to wait until WrestleMania 34 to see if a) Carmella does cash in her Money in the Bank contract, and if b) she is unsuccessful in her attempt. Just by looking at recent WWE booking though, it's most likely that this will be the case.

She can only cash in on the SmackDown Women's Champion, which will likely be Asuka after WrestleMania, so it's no wonder why many people believe she will be unsuccessful as she's unlikely to be the superstar to snap The Empress of Tomorrow's winning streak.

At some point, Carmella deserves to be a champion on either Monday Night Raw or SmackDown Live, but if the rumors are true, it's not going to be happening with her cashing in her Money in the Bank contract at WrestleMania 34 in a few weeks time.
