Preston defender Neill Collins is hoping for a permanent move to Leeds.

The 26-year-old, who has recently returned to Deepdale after a successful loan spell with the Yorkshire club, has a contract at Preston until 2013 but has been told he can leave.

He told BBC Radio Leeds: "Hopefully we are not far away from something happening. My agent will speak with Simon Grayson and we will find out where things lie. The good thing is Preston are looking to sell me. As long as it happens I will be happy."

He added: "I know I am on the transfer list and I am looking to move on. I had a great time at Leeds. I loved it and fell in love with the club and want more of it."
