Great comebacks - Liverpool v AC Milan in 2005, Newcastle v Arsenal in 2010, Nick Faldo at the 1996 Masters, the New England patriots in the 2017 Super Bowl and Red Rum at the 1973 Grand National.

The list could go on, but one comeback that definitely doesn't deserve a place on the list is Tiemoue Bakayoko's return to the Chelsea first-team after six weeks out injured.

Aside from a two minute cameo against Crystal Palace, the French midfielder hadn't pulled on the Chelsea shirt since a red card cut his disasterclass against Watford short.

Nevertheless, Bakayoko was given the nod against Leicester City in what eventually turned out to be a 2-1 win for Chelsea with Alvaro Morata and Pedro producing the goods.

Seven months deep into his Chelsea career, Bakayoko has struggled desperately after an impressive start - but would six weeks out the spotlight change things? In short, no.

Bakayoko produced another disasterclass v Leicester

Danny Murphy quickly picked up in commentary that the 23-year-old was struggling in the game, noting: "He's lost the ball too many times in the middle of the pitch.

"When they won the league, they had Matic next to Kante, they broke sit back and protect the back four. At the moment Bakayoko isn't doing one or the other, he's allowing Chelsea to be opened up."

It was an opinion corroborated by Chelsea fans and eventually by Antonio Conte who pulled the French midfielder off at half-time with Cesc Fabregas entering the fray.

Chelsea fan compiles Bakayoko's 'highlights'

And in light of another disappointing performance, one Chelsea supporter has compiled Bakayoko's 'individual highlights' from the Leicester clash and it's just so, so bad.

The 60 second clip showcases the lowest moments of his performance to jaunty music and is brutally titled: 'Tiemoue Bakayoko can't even control a ball by foot! Poor boy!' Take a look below:

Oh dear, Tiemoue.

There's no great pleasure in the shortcomings of a professional player, never mind one reasonably new to the Premier League, but the evidence is pretty damning.

While the high-points of his showing are edited out, there are moments where Bakayoko loses the ball in scandalous positions, concedes silly fouls and simply misses the ball.

Alongside a stunning N'Golo Kante performance, it was a terrible day at the office for a summer signing that simply has to be pick up his game.

Conte has been willing to give Bakayoko numerous chances to prove himself but time is quickly running out.
