Daniel Bryan's WWE career has been in question for several months now, but his reported latest move suggests that his WWE future is very much in doubt.

Bryan has been held out of ring competition due to his unfortunate history with concussion-related injuries over the course of his career. He has essentially been eliminated by WWE's medical staff from ever being able to be cleared to compete for them again.

This is a move both made for Bryan's longterm health and to avoid any liability on WWE's end should anything happen to Bryan while he wrestles for them.

Interestingly enough, however, Bryan has reportedly gotten the green light to wrestle again from several doctors across the country. The only doctors holding out on him and not giving him the okay to return are WWE's medical staff.

Bryan has been very vocal in the fact that if he isn't cleared by WWE to allow him to return to the ring, then he will likely leave the company once his contract is up later this year and wrestle elsewhere.

His deal with WWE is currently rumored to expire sometime in September. Bryan could easily return to New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) or Ring Of Honor (ROH) and instantly become the biggest star on the independent circuit.

There have been some rumors, however, that suggest there's a very small chance he could return to the ring for WWE at WrestleMania 34. It turns out there could be some legs to that rumor.

WrestleVotes Twitter account, who has broken several big stories throughout the year, has now reported that Bryan apparently shot down an opportunity to participate in a match at WrestleMania next month.

It turns out the proposal wasn't what Bryan wanted; as it included light work, minimal bumps, and more things along those lines:

With Bryan turning down a shot to wrestle at "The Show Of Shows," it is looking more and more like he could be on his way out of the company and preparing for a return to the indy scene.
