It looks like WWE is really pushing their "Greatest Royal Rumble" event in Saudi Arabia pretty hard.

Earlier last week Roman Reigns accidentally leaked out that the event could possible be aired on the WWE Network as a special live event. 50 men are expected to be in the Rumble match, and several WWE Legends (including The Undertaker) are expected to make appearances.

WWE has now announced that it will also feature several title matches on the card as well. They also teased that an announcement regarding how and if the show will be broadcasted will be coming soon.

Titles expected to be defended at the event include the WWE Championship, Universal Championship, Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, RAW Tag Team Titles, SmackDown Live Tag Team Titles, and Cruiserweight Title.

Here is WWE's official announcement on the matter:

"RIYADH, Saudi Arabia & STAMFORD, Conn.–(BUSINESS WIRE)– Following an agreement between His Excellency Turki Al Sheikh and WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia invites the world to the King Abdullah Sports City Stadium in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Friday, April 27 at 7:00 p.m. AST to celebrate the Greatest Royal Rumble event in WWE history.

"Tickets will be available Saturday, March 31, and this historic event will feature seven championship matches, including the WWE Championship, Universal Championship, Intercontinental Championship, United States Championship, Raw Tag Team Championship, SmackDown Tag Team Championship and Cruiserweight Championship.

"In addition to the seven Championship matches, the event will also include the first-ever 50-man Greatest Royal Rumble match.

"Fans will get to see WWE Superstars John Cena™, Triple H™, Roman Reigns™, AJ Styles™, Braun Strowman™, The New Day™, Randy Orton™, Bray Wyatt™ and Shinsuke Nakamura™, among others.

"Additional ticket details and broadcast information will be available in the coming weeks."

It should be interesting to see how big this live event in Saudi Arabia actually is when it's all said and done. Especially with all the effort WWE seems to be putting into making this event as big as possible.

What are your thoughts on WWE putting so much effort into this "Greatest Royal Rumble" event in Saudi Arabia? Why do you think they're putting so much of a focus on this particular event as opposed to some others? And will this event be as big a success as WWE is hoping it will be? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
