Everyone is looking forward to seeing Tyson Fury return to the boxing ring. The Gypsy King hasn't been inside the ropes since he beat Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015, but he’s well on the road to a dramatic comeback. He’s already lost an enormous amount of weight and is looking extremely sharp in the numerous videos he’s uploaded on social media. Meanwhile, he appears to have resolved his issue with UKAD as he nears his first fight back. But what are his plans when he does eventually return?Well, while we don’t know who Fury will be fighting or when, we do exactly what he’s targeting. On Monday evening, he released an Instagram video outlining exactly what he wants to do.“You all need to know my plan now,” Fury began.

TYSON FURY'S NEW PLAN

"I just set myself a goal of beating the great Joe Louis’ record of 25 title defences. Wladimir Klitschko almost beat Joe Louis’ record until I beat him and stopped him from equalling the great Joe Louis’ record. So I’ve got 25 titles defences to beat in the next ten years. Even if I put on three, four fights a year, I’ll beat it. ‘So, it’s going to be a hard challenge but I’ve never set a challenge I can’t make. What’s that word? Longevity. That’s what I’m looking forward."

Even Fury’s biggest fans will have to admit that is a ridiculously ambitious target.

Joe Louis’ record has stood for 70 years after ‘Brown Bomber’ claimed the heavyweight world title and Ring Magazine’s strap in 1937, knocking out James J. Braddock.

The American then retained his titles for a further 25 fights, remaining heavyweight king for eleven years and ten months.

But, at the age of 29, boxing fans seriously doubt that Fury has the ability to eclipse Louis.

Check out the reaction:

Fury has recently paired with new coach Ben Davies and continues to tease boxing fans about his comeback fight.

Of course, he will need to win back his belts before he can start pursuing Louis' record.

Recently, Fury did some sparring with ex-world title challenger Lucas Browne and Dillian Whyte's upcoming opponent revealed something interesting about their session.

Browne stated: "We had Tyson Fury come down for one session, so that was definitely interesting! A lot of shenanigans taking place, he did a spinning back elbow on me and all sorts of things. But it was good to get amongst it and just move around."
