Things haven't been going to plan for Manchester United in 2018.
The club may be sitting just behind bitter rivals Manchester City at the top of the Premier League standings and have an FA Cup semi-final to look forward to, but there are serious concerns over both the players and manager.
Their shock Champions League exit at the hands of Sevilla had fans doubting Jose Mourinho, while his public fallouts with Paul Pogba and Luke Shaw have not exactly helped his cause.
January signing Alexis Sanchez is also adding to the chaos, with the Chilean turning in a string of woeful displays since his move from Arsenal, scoring just once in ten appearances.
Nevertheless, despite the internal chaos, the club appear to have identified one area they want to remedy first; Old Trafford's atmosphere.
The Times report that United are taking some bizarre steps to improve it, by handing fans song sheets before games.
The paper says that Mourinho “has complained about the atmosphere on several occasions since taking over 22 months ago”, so an injection of loud signing is viewed as the best way to help.
Modern football, eh?
Naturally, the news went down a treat on Twitter and Liverpool fans simply couldn't contain their laughter.
LIVERPOOL FANS REACT
Jurgen Klopp's side may be behind United in the league standings, but the atmosphere seen at Anfield is undoubtedly the best in the Premier League.
The whole feeling around Liverpool right now is a heck of a lot more positive, with a huge Champions League clash against Manchester City to look forward to in two weeks.
Mohamed Salah is scoring goals for fun and the Reds look like they're on the right path to be serious contenders for the title next season.
United, on the other hand, face a crucial summer in which Mourinho will try and mastermind another squad revamp in order to challenge both domestically and in Europe.
