It seems like a lot of people know about Brock Lesnar’s contractual situation with WWE, as even UFC stars have an eye on The Beast Incarnate who could potentially make a WWE exit following WrestleMania 34.

Over the past few weeks, a lot has been made of Lesnar wanting to make a return to the Octagon. This all seems to boil down to the WWE refusing to budge on their stance - they simply won’t allow Lesnar to compete in the Octagon while under a WWE contract, which they did at UFC 200 when he returned to fight Mark Hunt.

UFC RUMOURS

However, there is also speculation that he could be using the UFC as leverage for a better WWE contract; something he did in the build-up to WrestleMania 31 before confirming on ESPN that he’s going to stay.

HEYMAN'S RESPONSE

“He is the biggest box office attraction in sports, the biggest box office attraction in entertainment, the biggest box office attraction in sports entertainment, the biggest box office attraction in UFC - the biggest box office attraction in WWE.

“But here’s something for everyone to think about, it’s one thing to ask for a fight with Brock Lesnar, it’s a whole different story when you actually have to fight Brock Lesnar.

“Just watch the footage of what happened on Monday Night RAW to Roman Reigns, “I want to fight Brock Lesnar bro, I want to fight Brock Lesnar, I want to fight Brock Lesnar.” What happens when you fought Brock Lesnar? And it’s the very same thing that’s gonna happen to Roman Reigns at WrestleMania when he fights the reigning, defending, undisputed Universal Heavyweight Champion - Brock Lesnar.”

Although Heyman has brushed this under the carpet for now, if Lesnar does decide to make a UFC return, then an Ngannou fight is certainly something the organisation could decide to make.
