WWE fans will reportedly be getting a long-awaited dream match at WrestleMania 34 between John Cena and The Undertaker.

Cena failed to punch his ticket to WrestleMania 34 in the Royal Rumble, losing out to Shinsuke Nakamura in the 30-Man Battle Royal. He then challenged The Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania on RAW the night after, but revealed he was told that match is impossible to make happen.

"The Leader Of The Cenation" then attempted to punch his ticket to "The Show Of Shows" in the Elimination Chamber match, however, Cena came up short and Roman Reigns won that bout. In his last effort to get to New Orleans, Cena was entered into the WWE Title match at Fastlane.

AJ Styles was able to retain his WWE Championship in the match and keep his own WrestleMania dream match intact against Shinsuke Nakamura.

Cena then said he would be going to WrestleMania as a fan but then issued out one final challenge to The Undertaker. With no response just yet, many fans expected for Cena to receive one on this past Monday's episode of RAW.

After calling Undertaker a coward and demanding an answer, his brother, Kane, came out and delivered a Chokeslam to Cena. Now Cena will face Kane on next week's episode of RAW.

Fans now hope that "The Deadman" will finally show up on RAW to confront Cena, however, a report from Cageside Seats reports we'll have to wait just a little bit longer.

The report suggests WWE could hold off on making the match between Cena and Taker official until the "go home" episode of RAW prior to WrestleMania 34. Judging by some past storylines with The Undertaker, it's possible Taker could even be held off WWE TV until WrestleMania itself.

With Undertaker continuing to suffer injuries as the years go on, this could very well be his last match inside the squared circle. It should be interesting to see how things play out in the coming weeks.

What are your thoughts on WWE possibly not confirming John Cena vs. The Undertaker at WrestleMania 34 until the "go home" episode of Monday Night RAW? Do you think this is a good idea creatively from WWE? Or should the company have already started to build up to this match weeks ago? Have YOUR say in the comments section below, and the fourth episode of GiveMeSport’s WWE podcast is here!
