Arsenal are reportedly monitoring Spanish teenager Francisco Alcacer.
The 16-year-old striker is one of the bright young stars on the books at Valencia, and Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is thought to have been impressed by Alcacer's performances in the current Under-17 European Championships.
Known as Paco, the young forward has scored 12 times in just nine appearances for his country's U17 side, including a hat-trick against Switzerland in the current tournament.
His performances in Liechtenstein will have alerted a string of top clubs across Europe, with Los Che suffering serious financial problems. David Villa has already been sold this summer, and more are expected to follow.
Alcacer would be seen as a coup for Wenger, who is renowned for bringing top young Spanish talent to north London from their homeland. Fran Merida and Cesc Fabregas are testiment to that.
The Daily Mirror reports that Wenger is tracking the highly-rated striker, and could make a move for the talented teen when the transfer window re-opens in June.
