The Indiana Pacers have been one of the surprise packages this season and are looking forward to an unexpected return to the playoffs after a one-year absence. They've enjoyed a resurgence this campaign despite trading Paul George last summer and have proven many doubters wrong.Victor Oladipo was one of the players acquired in the deal and has become a star in Indiana. He's enjoying a career year and has been the major factor behind the team's impressive campaign. The shooting guard certainly deserves most of the credit but it would be unfair to overlook the valuable contributions of other players throughout the year, particularly Myles Turner. The 21-year-old is really coming of age for the Pacers this year and has become an important player for them.He has shown a big improvement on both ends of the floor in just his third season and is one of the best young bigs in the league.Among his many attributes is his athleticism and he put this on display in stunning fashion against the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night. In the second quarter, Turner produced the highlight play of the night as he posterised the Pelicans' Cheick Diallo with a vicious one-handed dunk that reverberated around the Smoothie King Center.

The thunderous slam took place just in front of the Pacers bench who were all on their feet with excitement.

Well, almost all of them. The dunk was so good that it knocked teammate Alex Poythress off his seat and onto the floor, almost in shock at what he'd witnessed.

This was definitely the best reaction in the arena but there were some brilliant ones on Twitter too:

In the end, the Pacers went down 96-92 to New Orleans and dropped to fifth in the east, overtaken by the Philadelphia 76ers.

Turner finished the game with a double-double of 13 points and 10 rebounds but shot just 4-of-15 on the night.

Anthony Davis was once again the decisive factor for the Pels as he posted a huge 28 points, 13 rebounds and five blocks.

Turner was guarding AD down the stretch but even though the young Pacers center was playing with five fouls, he didn't believe it affected his defence on him.

"Those were tough shots, man. I couldn't defend it any better," Turner said, per ESPN. "The player that he is, just tough shots in the clutch."

With a 41-31 record, Indiana is almost guaranteed a postseason berth but they are determined to secure home-court advantage in the first-round and now have just 10 games left to do it.
