A massive 1619 days after making his Wales debut in 2013, Harry Wilson has finally picked up his second cap as a full international. His bow for Wales five years ago looks a little strange now, Wilson was still in the Liverpool youth ranks, but he has more than deserved his second shot in the first-team.Since leaving on loan to Hull City in the new year, the 21-year-old has seriously impressed fans at the KCOM Stadium and already has three goals to his name in seven appearances. As a result, new Wales boss Ryan Giggs couldn't help calling him up for the round of international friendlies in March and awarded him his very first start upon the visit to China. It was certainly an entertaining game for Wilson to enjoy, too, with Giggs starting life as a manager with a comfortable victory in Nanning.

Wilson scores on his first start for Wales

Gareth Bale was deployed from the start and, naturally, bagged himself two first-half goals before Sam Vokes found the back of the net himself.

Then, a moment of history as Wilson scored a goal of his own just before the break and it was quite the finish.

The Liverpool youngster won the ball in midfield, played a one-two, lost his defender in the box and defied the goalkeeper with a sweet left-footed finish.

It sparked a huge reaction from Kopites who were already raving about the merits of his general performance.

Liverpool fans think Wilson has earned his chance

They almost unanimously believe that the time is nigh for Wilson to get his long awaited first-team opportunity next season having only picked up one senior appearance at the club so far. Check out the tweets:

While Wilson was only flying against a weak China side, his performance was certainly impressive and notable on the international stage.

There's every reason to suggest Liverpool fans are spot on and that Klopp should begin to introduce the 21-year-old in cup fixtures going forward.

The future looks very bright for Wilson and especially if he can do to Premier League clubs what he did to China.
