Morecambe have made their first summer signing with the capture of winger Adam Rundle on a two-year deal.

The 25-year-old left-sided player was released by Chesterfield at the end of last season and has had previous spells with Rochdale, Rotherham and Carlisle.Rundle, whose career started with Darlington, will officially sign for the Shrimps on 1 July.

He told the club's official website: "I had a couple of clubs interested in me but Morecambe was the club that really caught my eye.They had a great season and did really well to get to the play-offs. I think the way Morecambe play will really suit my style and I'm really looking forward to it."
