Tyson Fury's comeback is nearly complete, with the Gypsy King appearing to be close to full fitness after an incredible transformation.

After not fighting competitively since 2015 - when he beat Wladimir Klitschko - Fury appeared to go off the rails a bit, with his personal issues seemingly putting an end to his career.

He packed on the pounds, nearing 25 stone at his heaviest but now, he's ready to make his return to the ring.

Reports suggested that Fury was close to signing a deal with Eddie Hearn's arch-nemesis Frank Warren, with a target date for his first fight set at June 9.

However, in his latest Instagram rant, Fury has clarified that no deal has been done yet and that he is still a free agent - Hearn might still get his man.

Well, he may not, because the Gypsy King has come out fighting with regards to Hearn's comments on Anthony Joshua possibly retiring if he unifies the division.

This would mean that is AJ beats Joseph Parker on Saturday and then defeats Deontay Wilder, he may call time on his career before fighting Fury.

Naturally, Fury was having none of his and his rant actually had some truth sewn into it.

He says: "Hi this is Tyson Fury, just to clear up a few things from the papers. I've signed nothing with nobody as of yet. I'm still a free agent ATM (at the moment).

"I just saw reports that Eddie Hearn saying Joshua will retire before he fights me and if he does, I told y'all he was a s***house and he's afraid of the Gypsy King. Look, I got myself back in shape... and now he wants to retire all of a sudden.

"Typical, typical, typical moves, stay active, get a couple of fights in because I'm going to take you to school, play with you. It's going to be unbelievable, an easy fight. (I'll) jab his head right off, use his head like a springboard."

It does seem odd that Hearn is talking about Joshua's retirement as soon as Fury nears his comeback.

However, the Matchroom promoter did state in the same interview that he was desperate to sort the all-British bout.

Hearn said: "Joshua wants to fight Tyson Fury for many reasons. There's still the element of 'Tyson did that first with Klitschko so he's the real champ'. I don't necessarily believe that.

"That competitor in AJ is desperate to fight Tyson Fury and, if Tyson gets himself back on the horse, we will make that fight happen."

Surely, Joshua can't bow out if Fury is willing and available?
