Dillian Whyte sent a message to the heavyweight division on Saturday night by knocking out former WBA heavyweight champion Lucas Browne in the sixth round at the O2 Arena.Browne was unbeaten heading into the showdown but after turning up noticeably out of shape, the Aussie was comfortably beaten in every round prior to the knockout blow.White, whose only defeat came at the hands of IBF, IBO and WBA world champion Anthony Joshua, had his tactics spot on from the get-go and Browne simply kept walking onto his jab.In the sixth round, Whyte knocked his 38-year-old foe out cold with a savage left hook and having already opened up a cut above Browne's eye and bloodied his nose in previous rounds, he was basically putting him out of his misery. So what next for Whyte? Surely the WBC will make him the mandatory challenger to Deontay Wilder's heavyweight crown and a first world title fight could be in his sights.Whyte is clearly excited at the prospect; after the fight, he was asked about Browne's condition and after a brief acknowledgment of his opponent's health, Whyte went straight into promoter mode."Yeah, you know, I hope Lucas Browne is ok. He showed up in a big fight and he tried, but I knew this was going to happen. But listen, hopefully he's well but, listen, Deontay Wilder - where you at?!"June! Where you at Wilder? Let's go! Let's go! Let's go! I'm ready - let's get it, Deontay.

"No more excuses just to get Joshua - Joshua isn't going to be ready in time - let's do this, June, live at O2, let's get it. I'm number one, baby! Let's go. Let's go, that's it."

And The Body Snatcher seems to think the WBC will grant him his wish, too.

"Listen, the WBC are good people, they're loyal people and they seem to stick to their word, and they want their fighters to be active," Wilder said. "And I think people are tired of Deontay Wilder fighting these half-way guys. Joshua isn't going to fight him next so his next fight is me. If he fights anyone else, I'm going to go to America and kick off."
