BOXING FANS FURIOUS AT SKY SPORTS

It really was a brutal knockout, and boxing fans across the world were marvelling at the connection blow that ended the fight.

But, many boxing fans took to Twitter to display their rage at Sky Sports for failing to show a replay of the knockout.

It is understandable for boxing fans to be frustrated given that it was a really good left hook from Whyte.

But given how Browne was laying motionless on the canvas, can you really blame Sky Sports for refusing to show a replay?

There were many concerns about Browne moments after the finishing blow, and it would not have been right to show a replay whilst doubts about the Australian's health remained.

And Eddie Hearn cleared up that Sky Sports did not want to show a replay until Browne was okay whilst replying to a fan.

Despite the wrath of many viewers, it can be said that Sky Sports made the right call.

BROWNE CONFIRMS HE IS OKAY ON TWITTER

Browne was rushed to hospital last night after receiving treatment in the ring, but he was understood to be in a good condition despite the nasty knockout.

And he confirmed on Twitter that he is in fine after last night's bout, whilst also praising Whyte for his performance.

He wrote: "Hi everyone. Thanks very much for the love and support. It wasn’t my night and massive respect to @DillianWhyte for his performance. My eye was giving me trouble from the second and you can’t protect from what you can’t see. I’m all good and I will be back."

Respect to Browne. He put in an extremely gutsy performance, and it's great to see that he is okay after suffering the first loss of his professional boxing career.
