Tyson Fury looks in great shape in latest Twitter post ahead of boxing return

George Groves v Chris Eubank JR: Super Middleweight Semi-Final - World Boxing Super Series

Saturday 9th June, 2018 - save the date.

It's been a long time coming, but Manchester Evening News claim Tyson Fury will soon be returning to boxing having not fought since beating Wladimir Klitschko in November 2015.

A date has already been set (see above) and while an opponent hasn't been decided, what we do know is that the bout will take place in Manchester.

Fury's imminent return has excited all boxing fans and according to Ricky Hatton, the 'Gypsy King' is looking "sensational" in training.

"Psychologically, Tyson feels he's going to be a legend like Muhammad Ali and he believes that," said Hatton recently.

"He has stuck at it. When he first did it, I thought he'd do it for a couple of months and then he'd be back on the p***. I'd walk in the pub and I'd see him there and think 'ah, s***, he fell back'.

"But nobody's seen him. The only place I've seen him is in gyms. I know where he goes and he's been nowhere near."

Fury has been working extremely hard over the past year to shed weight and get back into shape for the boxing ring, which is where he belongs.

And as of when he does return, the 29-year-old has made his intentions very clear: to conquer the heavyweight division.

It's a case of one step at a time for now, but judging by his latest tweet, Fury is in fantastic shape and has lost a huge amount of weight.

Here's what he looked like in August:

And here's what he looks like now:

Very impressive. Compared to seven months ago, Fury now looks pretty toned and has lost a lot of the bulk he had around his stomach.

Safe to say boxing fans are stunned by how good he now looks, with many congratulating the Brit for what he's achieved so far.
