It's always interesting when Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James returns to his old stomping grounds in Miami to play against the Heat, but Dwyane Wade made sure that his former teammate wasn't going to have a good night. The Heat defeated the Cavaliers 98-79 on Tuesday night at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, as they kept James and Co. contained, as only two Cleveland players scored 15 or more points on the night. Their 79 total points in the game was a season-low. This was also the seventh straight loss for LeBron and Cavs in Miami since he left the Heat.Wade had a brilliant night and rocked it on defense for Miami, as he finished the game with 12 points, two rebounds, four assists, a steal, four blocks, and he was 5-of-11 from the field. Two of his four blocks came against his former teammate. One of Wade's blocks on James came with just over eight minutes to go in the second quarter. The Cavs icon was driving towards the basket for the score, only for the Heat star to come in from behind swat the ball away and out of his hands. The stage was set for an epic showdown.

With three minutes to go in the fourth quarter, Wade blocked James yet again, stifling a comeback in the game by Cleveland in the process. Once again, LeBron was driving towards the basket, but this time he stopped short for a fadeaway.

What James didn't notice though was that Wade was situated behind him, and the shooting guard simply reached over the top from behind to get a touch on the ball as LeBron released it. His shot was blocked once more and it looked like it was destiny for the Heat to win this game.

James said to ESPN that after the game, the two got together and laughed about the moments on the court like they always do. He said: "That's one thing about us -- we don't brag about what we do against each other. We talk about what we do against everybody else."

Wade was pleased with the way the Heat defended throughout the game, as he said: "We did a great job. One of our best defensive games since I've been here, for sure."

The Heat play next when they host the Chicago Bulls on Thursday night, while the Cavaliers play next when they travel to Charlotte to take on the Hornets tonight.
