WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans is just around the corner, but for over a year, we have known what the likely main event match of the show will be. WWE is probably going close this year's show with the Universal Championship match of Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns.
As well as knowing the main event for over a year, WWE fans have known who is going to win this match for some time as well, as The Big Dog is the favourite to prevail and finally defeat The Beast on the grandest stage of them all.
With the place on the show and outcome determined for the match, all that's left to do is book how the match will unfold, and according to reports, it could include a rather spectacular finish that is bound to surprise many members of the WWE Universe.
According to Wrestling Observer Radio, via Rajah, WWE officials are strongly considering a major heel turn for Reigns at WrestleMania 34, with one suggested angle leading up to this moment being Paul Heyman turning against Lesnar and aligning himself with The Big Dog.
It would be quite the shock if Heyman was to turn on The Beast in the main event of WrestleMania and it would draw similarities to when he turned on Lesnar to align with the Big Show at Survivor Series in 2002, and when he turned on CM Punk at Money in the Bank in 2013.
Just like Lesnar, Heyman's contract with the WWE runs out after WrestleMania 34. However, many suspect him to sign another part-time deal with the company, which would allow him to come back and be Reigns' advocate when necessary.
Nevertheless, Heyman turning on Lesnar would truly be a shocking element to the booking of the match that no one would have seen coming a couple of months ago, and it's bound to still surprise WWE fans on the night of The Showcase of the Immortals if it does take place.
This might be WWE's attempt as well to try and put Lesnar vs Reigns on the same entertainment level as the WWE Championship match between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura, which many believe could steal the show.
Certainly, a Reigns heel turn would be openly accepted by many WWE fans, as they've been begging the company to turn him heel for some time now, but him aligning with Heyman is something many wouldn't have seen coming.News Now - Sport News
