While all the attention in the boxing world is focused on Anthony Joshua, Deontay Wilder and Joseph Parker right now, it’s impossible to forget about Tyson Fury. The ‘Gypsy King’ is preparing for his return to boxing after a lengthy hiatus. Fury recently posted a photo of himself on Twitter showing a slimmer figure than we saw months ago.The Manchester Evening News recently reported that the former heavyweight champion has signed a deal with promoter Frank Warren and could fight in Manchester on June 9.Boxing fans would love nothing more than to see Fury return to the level where a fight against Joshua is possible. That would surely be one hell of an encounter.Fury will have one eye on tomorrow night’s events at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff but not just to watch Joshua versus Parker. The 29-year-old has sent a wonderful message on Instagram to David Price, who takes on Alexander Povetkin for the WBA Inter-Continental and WBO International heavyweight titles.

Fury's Instagram message to Price

“I wish you all the best in fighting Povetkin,” Fury said. “All you need to do David is land one punch on him, one detonating right hand and you’ve catapulted yourself back into the heavyweight division.

“Believe in yourself. Yes, you can do it. You are David Price, the knockout king of the heavyweight division.”

Why boxing fans are joking about the video

Boxing fans are crediting Fury for his message - but they’re also having a laugh, too.

You see, on Tuesday - March 27 - Fury sent a tweet claiming he was going to stay off social media for eight weeks.

“I’m going offline for 8 weeks, to prove we don’t need phones,” Fury tweeted.

That didn’t last long!

Price: I'm not supposed to win

Price is the underdog against Povetkin, who holds a 33-1 record, but he realises just how important tomorrow’s fight is.

"I am desperate," he told BBC Sport. "I am up against it. But in every sport, there are upsets weekly.

“It's a massive opportunity for me to turn around my boxing career. I have to get the win and change my life in the process.

“I’m not supposed to win this fight. It can wipe out any negativity in my career."
