Crystal Palace mock Liverpool on Twitter

That 3-3 draw at Selhurst Park, in which Palace came back from 3-0 down to stun Brendan Rodgers’ side, won’t be forgotten anytime soon.

Indeed, Crystal Palace decided to remind everyone about it on Friday.

The Eagles posted a tweet showing highlights from the match, writing simply: “Rude not to… 😁 #CRYLIV”.

They just had to include the clip of Luis Suarez crying at the end, didn’t they?

Of course, the tweet wasn’t going to go down well with Liverpool supporters. Check out their replies.

It was the result that gave Manchester City the chance to overtake Liverpool in the 2013-14 title race and it was an opportunity they took thanks to a 4-0 win over Aston Villa.

And the title was City’s when they defeated West Ham United on the final day of the season.

Palace, quite clearly, enjoy being the club who ruined Liverpool’s chances of ending their wait to win the Premier League.

And with Manchester City's rise, you have to wonder when they're going to get another shot again.

Yet Jurgen Klopp’s side can do some damage to the Eagles’ hopes of staying in the top flight with three points tomorrow.

"It will be difficult for sure... they fight (to stay in) the league and we fight for the Champions League,” Klopp said about the match, per BBC Sport.
