Here we go - it's now just a matter of hours until Anthony Joshua takes on Joseph Parker. Can AJ unify the heavyweight division? Is Deontay Wilder waiting in the wings for him? That's exactly what's at stake in Cardiff. The British champion is the clear favourite, especially now he has weighed in so light at 17st 4lbs 2oz, as that could be hugely beneficial in his attempts to outpace the New Zealander. The 28-year-old will also be relying on his big hitting as he looks to improve his flawless record of 20-0, with all 20 of his previous bouts ending in knockouts.Ultimately, most punters are backing Joshua, so it could simply be a matter of how he'll secure the victory.Amir Khan is one of the many who is firmly behind his compatriot. The Bolton-born fighter has been out of the game for a little while, last appearing in May 2016, when he lost to Canelo Alvarez. However, he still sounds confident that he knows what he's talking about in his predictions for the AJ-Parker fight.

Khan's prediction

Khan tweeted:

"Who you got winning tonight. @anthonyfjoshua or Joe Parker, With Joshua’s speed power and accuracy he gets the KO before round 8. What do you all think?

"The longer the fight goes on it will get harder for Joshua. I say Joshua jumps on him early and ends it."

So, what's his record? Only Wladimir Klitschko and Takam have taken him beyond eight rounds and in 16 of his fights, he's finished off his opponents in three rounds or less.

Perhaps we're all doing Parker a disservice here. After all, the 26-year-old has a very impressive record of his own, winning all of his 24 fights, 18 of them by knockout.

The calibre of his opponents hasn't always been that high, but that's exactly why he's making the step up and challenging Joshua.
