Accrington striker Michael Symes has joined Bournemouth.

The 26-year-old, who was Stanley's top scorer last season netting 19 goals in all competitions, was out of contract and rejected a new deal to move to the recently promoted Cherries.

Former Everton trainee Symes had been at the Crown Ground since last summer after being released by Shrewsbury but now follows fellow frontmen Bobby Grant and Billy Kee out of the exit door.
