Chelsea vs Tottenham on Easter Sunday shaped up as one of the most important games of the Premier League season.Manchester City have long since run away with the league title, the battle for a top-four spot has taken centre stage among the country's best clubs. But even then, Manchester United and Liverpool already looked confirmed to take two of them, leaving Tottenham and Chelsea knowing that their game held a lot of sway for the final place.A blue win would open the race right up, but a win for Spurs could end it there and then - it won't get much bigger than that for either club this year.Spurs being without Harry Kane gave Chelsea more of a chance than usual and their excellent home record against Tottenham further hinted at a win for Antonio Conte's side.Chelsea took the lead after Alvaro Morata took advantage of a Hugo Lloris mistake, only for an incredible strike from Christian Eriksen to send the two teams in level at the break. The second half, however, belonged to one man: Dele Alli. The 21-year-old had played just 22 minutes for England over the international break - all of which came against the Netherlands after he was left on the bench for the Italy game. But Alli has immediately set about regaining his place in the national side with two goals in four minutes to give Spurs a 3-1 win at Chelsea - their first win at Stamford Bridge in 28 years. And Alli had a cheeky twitter message to people who perhaps wrote him off which you can check out below:

The Spurs midfielder had cupped his ear to the Chelsea fans after celebrating his first goal and evidently wanted to reiterate his statement afterwards.

Needless to say, fans ate it up:

Mauricio Pochettino had some words of encouragement for Alli after the game, suggesting that people are far too harsh on the player.

I'm very, very pleased," he said. "It's been a tough period for him, but for no doubt about his talent, his character. He's a fighter; very competitive.

"If he doesn't play for the international team he needs to fight and win trust and confidence again.

"In the end, he's a great talent, only 21-years-old, and sometimes we lose the focus on that.

"Sometimes the expectation is too much. There is too much pressure."

For England's sake, let's hope Alli is back to his best.
