Last week WWE SmackDown Live Women's Champion Charlotte Flair missed SmackDown Live, and was removed from her scheduled semi-finals match in the Mixed Match Challenge.

WWE noted that this was due to an injury, and fans immediately began to worry that the highly-anticipated Charlotte Flair vs. Asuka match at WrestleMania could be in jeopardy. It turns out that the injury Flair was suffering from was recovery from a dental operation.

The Queen has pretty much wrapped up recovery from the operation and should be good to go for her collision with The Empress Of Tomorrow.

She recently did an interview with Barstool Sports to discuss her recent injury scare, saying the reason WWE kept her off TV is because she looked like a mess. Flair also noted that WWE has cleared her to wrestle (quotes via Ringside News):

"I'm good. They just kept me off TV because it was so swollen and I was talking funny from the stitches. They cleared me to wrestle, but I just looked a mess. So, I'll be back next week."

Charlotte, the daughter of two-time WWE Hall Famer Ric Flair, has had a tremendous career inside the squared circle since joining the industry.

She has already had reigns as both the RAW and SmackDown Women's Champion in addition to participating in many first-time evers for the Women's Division. Now, Flair has a shot at making history this weekend in New Orleans.

The Queen challenges undefeated Asuka, who hasn't lost in WWE in two years, and puts her SmackDown Live Women's Title on the line.

Asuka is the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble winner and decided to challenge Flair at The Show Of Shows, despite being a member of the RAW brand.

Now that all rumors of an injury have been laid to bed, WWE fans can rest easy and continue to anticipate what could be the best match on the WrestleMania 34 card.

What are your thoughts on Flair getting cleared to wrestle after her dental operation and not having her WrestleMania match with Asuka in jeopardy?
