Last weekend, the Golden State Warriors thought their injury problems ahead of the playoffs must have been going from bad to worse, as Patrick McCaw had a nasty fall onto the court after a collision with Vince Carter during the team's game against the Sacramento Kings.

McCaw was taken to hospital after a collision with Carter on Saturday. The Warriors player was undercut accidentally by the Kings star after he jumped up for a shot, resulting in him crashing down on the hardwood. He had to be taken off on a stretcher and was immediately sent to the hospital.

Thankfully, it appears the guard has escaped, as his chest X-Ray and a CT scan on Saturday came back clean, as did his MRI on his lower back on Sunday. He has since been released from the hospital, however, there isn't currently a timetable for his return to the court.

Upon watching the footage of the incident, there are some fans that believe Carter deliberately undercut McCaw in this situation, which caused the injury. Warriors head coach Steve Kerr was initially angry with Carter but later expressed to the media that he doesn't believe the Kings star did what he did on purpose.

Several Warriors players, such as Kevin Durant and Draymond Green told the media as well that they believe the incident was accidental, and now McCaw has joined them. He believes Caryer didn't aim to harm him in any way.

He said in a tweet: "Thank you everyone for your thoughts and prayers! God definitely is watching over me, I'm blessed beyond measure! @mrvincecarter15 I know you didn't mean to harm me in any way! To my coaches, teammates, friends and family I love you guys so much for being there with me!!!"

McCaw isn't scheduled to play for the Warriors against the Oklahoma City Thunder later today, but there are plans in place for him to see a specialist later this week on Thursday. Hopefully, after this meeting, we'll get an idea as to when he will be back on the court for Golden State.

It looks like as well, after a heated brief few moments following the injury, the whole Warriors team wants to put the incident to bed and forgive Carter for the accident.
