Arsenal made hard work of their game vs Stoke on Sunday. The Gunners were expected to cruise to an easy three points against the relegation threatened side, but the score was still locked at 0-0 with 20 minutes remaining. But Stoke could not hold on to a precious point as Arsenal would score three goals late on to secure the victory.Although the north London side would emerge victorious, an angry altercation between two of Arsenal's star players late in the game was perhaps the biggest talking point. With five minutes remaining and Arsenal holding a slender one goal lead, Hector Bellerin passed the ball to Mesut Ozil in an offside position. This caused the two to trade angry words, with many believing that Ozil told Bellerin to 'wait until inside.'

BELLERIN SHEDS LIGHT ON THE INCIDENT

Bellerin has now shed light on the incident, claiming that despite the angry exchange, the two  were hugging in the dressing room.

The Spanish international told Sky Sports: "We are two passionate players and we love the game, and you get into those situations.

"Straight after the game, we were hugging each other. It happens and what happens on the pitch, stays on the pitch.

"I think he said something like 'you talk too much' and to be fair, if I was a guy playing alongside myself, I do probably talk a bit too much!

"But I always want to give information to the players in front of me and I want players to demand from me as well. That is how it works.

"We only have a pair of eyes so, when you have players around you that can give you information, it is always important.

"It is normal to always get into things like that in games, this time the cameras picked it up.

"This is part of football, it happens every day and once it finishes, we are all friends again."

Despite the incident, Arsenal fans would no doubt have appreciated the passion that this exchange conveyed.
