WrestleMania is like Christmas for wrestling fans. It's when all wrestling fans, wrestlers, promoters, and events come together in one city or in one area to celebrate the sport that we all love the most. Where memories that last a lifetime are made, and the unthinkable happens. We've seen glorious WrestleMania moments happen dozens of times in the past, whether it be Hulk Hogan body slamming Andre the Giant, The Undertaker losing for the first time at WrestleMania, Shawn Michaels' 'I'm sorry. I love you' to Ric Flair, Seth Rollins cashing in, or Daniel Bryan defying the odds. WrestleMania now though has expanded to more than just one show, it's a whole weekend of action. From NXT TakeOver, to the Hall of Fame induction, to the Monday Night Raw and SmackDown Live shows after the event itself. Those events create so many memories for wrestling fans too. From celebrating WWE's future stars, to recognising WWE's legends of the past, to starting off the new wrestling year with a bang, WrestleMania weekend now has it all, and this year's event in New Orleans is going to be no different. With WrestleMania now just a couple of days away, let's take a look at the five biggest things to look out for across the entire weekend.
Goldberg's Hall of Fame Induction
Hall of Fame speeches are always great, and this year should be no different. On Friday night, Goldberg will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, and rightfully so. He was arguably the face of WCW after his incredible 173-match undefeated streak, winning the United States Championship and WCW World Championship along the way. After leaving WCW when they closed their doors, Goldberg debuted in WWE the night after WrestleMania 19 in 2003, spearing The Rock of all people, before going on to win the World Heavyweight Championship before leaving one year later after a match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 20.
