QPR manager Neil Warnock has turned to two familiar faces in appointing a new physiotherapy team at Loftus Road.

Nigel Cox and Sangi Patel join Rangers as head physio and assistant respectively having worked with Warnock during his time in charge at Crystal Palace.

Warnock told the club's official website: "We needed a bit of impetus and fresh blood. That's not being disrespectful to those who have left the club, they were all fantastic people who I'm sure will get fixed up.

"But managers want their own people around them and I've worked with Nigel and Sangi for a long time now. They're both excellent professionals who bring great experience and are very good at their jobs."
