Gillingham striker Dennis Oli has signed a new two-year deal.

Oli, who joined the club in January 2008 following a successful loan spell, agreed terms last week and has now officially put pen to paper to keep him at Priestfield until the end of the 2011/12 season.

Manager Andy Hessenthaler is also hopeful of completing deals with out-of-contract duo Garry Richards and Mark Bentley.

But the news comes as club legend Jimmy Boswell - who is fourth in the Gills' all-time appearances table having played in over 500 games - has passed away at the age of 88.
