The way Liverpool tore Manchester City apart on Wednesday evening was one of the season's undoubted highlights.Few expected such a performance from Jurgen Klopp's side as they demonstrated an all-around game unlike anything they've ever shown and look well worthy of a place in the Champions League semi-finals.Things aren't done yet, of course, as they will take their 3-0 lead to the ground they suffered their heaviest defeat of the season - a 5-0 loss at the Etihad Stadium. But that's far too negative a take on what was a night to remember for Liverpool; it's been ten years, but they're finally back among the elite.Goals from Mohamed Salah, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Sadio Mane within the first half-hour were more than enough to see off a City side who didn't manage a shot on target all game.Anfield was rocking, the team was flying, and a place in the last four of the Champions League is within their grasp - Reds fans are on top of the world right now and nothing is bringing them down right now.Except for, it seems, a tweet from Sevilla.Liverpool infamously threw away a 3-0 lead against the Spaniards early in the competition, and Sevilla just wanted to remind people of that fact with a little tweet.

It's innocent enough, a nice bit of fun, and seemingly enough to really get under the skin of lots of Liverpool fans.

Because being 3-0 up in a Champions League quarter-final still seemingly isn't enough to let you laugh at yourselves a bit - instead, it makes you want to post passive-aggressive messages on Twitter.

Some of which you can see below:

Some of the cleaner ones, anyway.

So certain Liverpool fans appear to still be on edge in their tie with City before things finally get settled on Tuesday.

Perhaps that's excusable considering the team's lack of European success over the past decade - especially in the Champions League - and the low-lying belief that they could upset things this year.

City have long been favourites for the tournament and yet Liverpool have just blown them away; if Klopp can guide his side past this test, just how far can he go?
