Arsenal have had a strange season, to put it mildly.Having held onto Alexis Sanchez over the summer despite all the pressure of a sale to Manchester City, they endured a first half of the season that was all about the future of Sanchez and teammate Mesut Ozil - both out of contract at the end of the season.Sanchez would, of course, move to Manchester United in January after a disappointing finish to 2017, while Ozil would surprise many by deciding to stay with Arsenal. The team had dropped well off the pace at the top by then (although to be fair, everyone except City had) and top-four qualification looked an outside bet - but Arsenal still managed to secure two top players to replace Sanchez in Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.February started with an emphatic 5-1 win over Everton as everything looked happy again - and then a stretch of six games with one win and it's time for Wenger Out signs. But now Arsene Wenger looks like he might just be able to guide his team to something in the Europa League. While Arsenal can't consider themselves outright favourites - Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid side can feel comfortable in that position - the comfortable beating of AC Milan suggests they're a team to be feared. And with what Aaron Ramsey has done against CSKA Moscow in the quarter-final first leg, they've got the magic required to let the fans dream a bit.Just watch what Ramsey does:

It's slick passing in the build-up from Arsenal, but the finish steals the show as Ramsey manages an outrageous lob over Igor Akinfeev with a back-heel volley.

Needless to say, fans have absolutely loved it.

A bit more of that kind of magic and Arsenal can surely be real contenders for the Europa League - a trophy that might just be enough to save Wenger's job for another year.

There are still some top sides left, of course, with Atletico, RB Leipzig, and Lazio all eyeing up the trophy as well.

Still, Arsenal have a real chance at top silverware this season, something that would be a fitting end to a wild season.
